The USAREUR-AF Band and Chorus is currently seeking Sound and Light Engineers.

If you have live audio and/or DMX lighting experience and thrive in a fast-paced environment, the U.S. Army Europe and Africa Band and Chorus is the place for you.

Sound

As a sound engineer, you will work on a team that designs, builds, and operates live and studio setups for a high-energy popular show. In addition to your work with the Chorus, you will also have the opportunity to go on tour with other ensembles within the U.S. Army Europe and Africa Band.

Required Skills:

  • Live audio mixing

  • Speaker and Microphone Placement

  • Using Analog or Digital mixing consoles

Recording experience a plus.

Lighting

As a lighting technician, you will design, build, and operate elaborate light shows for the U.S. Army Europe and Africa Band and Chorus. You will get to go on concert tours that span the European continent, and gain experience building lights for a variety of venues.

Required Skills:

  • Use of DMX Lighting Equipment

  • Technical Troubleshooting

Spotlight operating experience or audio experience a plus
